Under the Weather
I have been a little under the weather and recently had to have a stress test. The good news is that I do indeed have a heart and at this time, it is working as God intended and has no blockages. I had been down in the dumps until I got the results and was feeling sorry for myself. After reading the July 18, 2008 post on Down River Drivel (on my list of favorites) I will never feel sorry for myself again. Anyone reading this should visit that site and read the post. Jeni is the author of that site and deserves some kind of award. I will now have a mission to find something appropriate for her. She is amazing as far as I am concerned.

Ah Sylvia -you are way, way too kind with your words. I'm far from amazing - more or less just resigned and take things one day at a time, as they come at me. Usually. But there are times when I forget I ever knew the 12-step program and get angry as all get out trying to control things, people -over which I have no control. And then, slowly but surely, I begin to remember what I'm doing wrong and try to revert back to conceding the control factor for a while again. It does work, ya know -as long as you keep using it that is.
Glad to hear your tests came out A-OK for you too though! (And also, that you have a heart -and a darned good and big one too!)
